Wonderful Me!
At Deepcar St John’s, we wholeheartedly embrace the unique journey of every child. We take pride in celebrating and showcasing our pupils’ personal achievements for everyone to see via our Wonderful Me display in school.
If your child has earned any certificates, medals, or trophies outside of school that you’d like to share, please send them in with your child, and we will take a photograph to display on our board. Alternatively, feel free to email your pictures to n.pearce@deepcar-st-johns.sheffield.sch.uk.

What an AMAZING day yesterday for this year 4 as she took part in a gymnastics competition at High Green! 🎉 She took to the stage and absolutely shone — not only securing 1st and 2nd place in her individual events but also coming away with the overall 1st place trophy!
A huge congratulations to her on this well-deserved achievement.
During half term, these two year 5 boys climbed Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, in the Lake District. It is a staggering 978m high, and a total distance of 14km. The walk, following ‘The Corridor Route’ took them 8 hours to complete. Apparently, it was lovely weather on the way up but rained all the way down! What an amazing achievement boys, one which they proudly shared with us today at school.
We are thrilled to celebrate one of our talented Year 4s, who shone brightly last weekend at a in-house gymnastics competition!
Her hardwork and dedication to training paid off, resulting in three well-deserved medals.
